 Walking MapThis map chronicles my process of using chance to determine a walking path, as well as gathering samples at interval. The instructions read: roll die to represent tens column, then again for ones: add or subtract this number from 0 degrees N if it is even or odd, respectively. Walk for 20 minutes with this heading, then roll again. |  Walking MapEach bag carries the sample collected at 1m from my standing position at the time of each re-heading. |  Walking MapSpecified on the chart is the change in heading in degrees, and the time when a new dice was rolled. |
