Break-away Pyrotechnic Set Designed for an action movie made among friends. To produce a sequence where the hero escapes out the back of this Dennys restaurant just ahead of its explosive destruction, I built this scale miniature with break-away features. Live action footage on location was then cut with shots of the miniature to complete the scene.	Break-Away Pyrotechnic Set A reasonably scale explosion fireball and smoke was accomplished with a pair of high volume fine mist of a slow burning lamp oil. The expanding gas tore away the scale corrugated roof panels, and sent the door flying for a dramatic effect. I forget what the movie was about.
